A Sense Of Belonging

Trinity is a Spirit-filled, progressive and happening church where we feel the presence and power of God. It is family-oriented. There are several services in different language for my husband, my mother and I. There are also pre-teen and Discoveryland programs for my children. We enjoy attending church as a family every Sunday and are anticipating for the nursery facilities in the new Paya Lebar premises after the birth of our 3rd child in December.

There's always a burst of pride and joy within us when we serve fellow Trinitarians and visitors in church and carecell.

Impacting The Lives Of The Old And The Young

Trinitarians are very blessed to have a strong Children’s Ministry. My two children look forward to Discoveryland every weekend. The words of affirmation from the teachers and their love helps to increase their level of confidence.

When my child is afraid, she remembers the song “My God is so big, so strong and so mighty…” she learnt in Nursery 2.
I sang this song to her when she was in her tears. She then completed the song with me and calmed down soon after that.

God is doing great work through Trinity, impacting the lives of the old and young.

I Found God In Trinity

Three years ago, I was at the lowest point of my life. I had no one and no where to turn. I was in deep financial crisis, alone, unhappy and without hope.
Somehow, God opened a door of hope for me. Through His divine intervention one Sunday morning, I was simply led to Trinity out of the several churches along Adam Road.

I walked in just in time to hear “What time is this”? There I was, down and broke and there was this Lady Pastor, encouraging the congregation to dig deep into their pockets and give it to the Lord. I was wondering ‘did I walk into a wrong church’? I wanted to walk out but the Music and the Sermon that followed, not only stopped me from walking out but to return back again and again every Sunday to be ministered and by then, I had managed to understand and appreciate this ministry of “ What time is this”?

Trinity Pastors have gifted preaching impact. They preach boldly and biblically. The Sermons that I first received, ‘pierced’ my conscience on my arrogance, my refusal to tithe, my love for earthly pleasures and my utter embarrassment and fear of praying and or receiving prayers in public.

My first alter call was one of the most humbling experiences in my life. The short distance from the pews to the altar was one of my longest and tearful walk. However, receiving the forgiveness of God and experiencing His love as I cried my heart out, was worth everything.

Today, I remain proudly, A Blessed and Happy Trinitarian, knowing that God has kept His promises to me and that I have all Three in One .

We are Trinitarians because we identified with the Church's active program to reach out to the unsaved in the local and global arena.
We felt the warm fellowship through Trinity's concept of welcoming all to its' cell and worship services.
The Holy Trinity of God is felt in the worship service.
The church's all encompassing program allows us to grow in the Lord in different phases or seasons of our Christian walk.
We identified with Church's policy of praying for the country and leadership, singing National Anthem on National Day.

Trinity is the church where I literally grew up in. From Nursery and Discovery Land to Youth Ministry, UP, Alpha Track, Chi Alpha and now South District, Trinity has been a fixture in my life. Besides physical growth, Trinity is a place which has helped me to grow in every sense of the word. I have grown spiritually by learning more about God's Word, adopting certain spiritual disciplines and growing closer in my relationship with God. I have honed my leadership and interpersonal skills through tenet courses and by being given the opportunity to practise it in cell, and these are techniques which I apply to much success in school and work. Lastly but fundamentally, Trinity is where my values are shaped, values that mould my character and which will ultimately determine my destiny.

Trinity is a church that glows - it is a place where God's glory shines, and where the love of God's people 'shines like stars in the universe'. Attending the celebration services is one of the highlights of my week - encountering God in the times of worship and altar call, and hearing Him speak so specifically through the pastors who emcee and preach - you know that God is in this church. Being involved in cell and experiencing the love and support of the cell members - you know that God is real in the lives of Trinitarians.

Trinity is a church that commits to go into all the world to impact the nations. As an overseas student, I am blessed to attend a church in London that comes under the apostolic covering of Trinity. I have witnessed and experienced how effectively the carecell system has worked in another country, and how grateful the people are for all the GLN materials as well as for the ministry of the pastors who come to visit. By going into the nations, Trinity has left an indelible and enduring legacy in lives and communities all over the world.

A church that started off moving from one rented place to another is now a church that reaches out to one nation after another.

Pilgrim on a journey, the One he seeks to find,
Is He in ancient stories, yet appears through all times.
With the bible in one hand, he starts across the land,
Yet as he reads the Word, he knows he must form a band.
Thus Pilgrim asks and prays, to his Lord his requests lay,

With patience with each other, showing our Lord's grace.
In groups they meet often, much like those ancient days,
With support and encouragement, much fun, food and play.

To walk in this journey, with men and women such,
Pilgrim gives thanks endless, to He who blessed him much.
No longer just a loner, but to Trinity's tribe he belongs,

Trinity is a giving church, a body of Christ that loves God dearly and serves Him faithfully. Trinity is a purpose-driven church that is very focused in developing strategic leadership. Trinity is a church that knows how to host the awesome presence of God and flows in His grace and anointing such that many lives are touched and transformed week afterweek. Trinity's vibrant worship truly honours and glorifies God. Therefore, I am proud to be a Trinitarian."

A Church For Everyone

Trinity is a place for spiritual growth, relational growth, physical growth, and even intellectual growth. There are different ways in which we can grow spiritually; through services, cell groups, FUEL (for Ignyte Youths), TENet courses and in the recent Life Conference. It is a place to get to know more people, build good relationships, growing together, and spurring each other on. We can even learn new things and pick up new vocabularies in sermons.

Trinity caters to God’s people of all ages and never despises the young but work to also teach and disciple them in the word of God. The services are enriching to the soul and spirit and consumable. The people here are friendly, caring, hospitable, and seek to serve each other. These do not only apply to the pastors and leaders but also to the rest of the church.

Even in the on-going bazaar these two weeks, Trinitarians of all ages can be seen enthusiastically volunteering, and others patronizing, in the call to raise money to build God’s house at Paya Lebar. What more can I say when the joy of being a Trinitarian is displayed here? Being a Trinitarian, being God’s child here in this church, is something I am definitely proud of.

Trinity is an outward looking church and constantly ensures that Trinitarians are fulfilling their God given destiny.
Trinity’s missions,visions and every message from the pulpit require a respond and a change in every Trinitarian.

My Firm Pillar Of Strength

Trinity is my one and only church since I accepted Christ in 1991.
Since then, I am fully involved in the cell life of Trinity.
Trinity is a vibrant church with plentiful opportunities for me to serve God and encounter Him.

Where The Lost Can Be Found In More Than One Way..

Trinity Christian Centre is a church where the lost truly can be found, in more ways than one. For example, I accidentally left my Nalgene water bottle in the auditorium a month back, and when I filed a lost item report at the 2nd floor reception counter, I was informed to retrieve my lost bottle a week later.
